Former Lehigh University lacrosse player Shane Donlan was found dead after an apparent fall from a Las Vegas Strip hotel, the Associated Press has reported.

The AP reported that the Clark County coroner’s office on Tuesday identified the dead man as Donlan, 23, who played at Lehigh from 2006-09. Donlan was originally from Wyckoff, N.J., and was residing in Hawthorne, N.J.

A coroner’s spokeswoman said the cause and manner of Donlan’s death were still under investigation, the AP reported.

Las Vegas police on Monday called the case an apparent suicide. Police said Donlan’s body was found between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday outside the Imperial Palace, the AP reported.

Donlan was a defensive midfielder at Lehigh who played regularly all four years.
