Episcopal Academy is top seeded team in PA Independent girls’ lacrosse tournament

Inter-Ac League leader Episcopal Academy has been awarded the top seed in the eight-team Pennsylvania Independent School Athletic Association (PAISAA) girls’ lacrosse tournament.

The event begins Tuesday, May 11 with quarterfinal games at home sites. EA (9-4 overall) will host fellow Inter-Ac member Germantown Academy. No 2 seed Baldwin School, also from the Inter-Ac, will host Germantown Friends of the Friends Schools League.

No. 3 Penn Charter of the Inter-Ac hosts Friends’ Central of the Friends League and No. 4 Shipley of the Friends’ League hosts Hill School of the Mid-Atlantic Prep League.

A semifinal doubleheader will be held Tuesday, May 18 (time to be determined) at Eastern University and the finals will be held (tentatively set for 3 p.m.) on May 21 at Eastern.
