Drexel women’s lacrosse standout Wood (Conestoga) to play, coach in Europe as part of international athlete exchange program

Drexel women’s lacrosse player Charlotte Wood (Conestoga) is touring Europe from June 1 through June 20 with the Global Players Student Athlete Exchange program. Wood will not only compete in the Lacrosse Open Tournament in Vienna and Berlin, but will be coaching lacrosse camps throughout Austria and Czech Republic.

The Global Players Student Athlete Exchange program is designed for current college students and recent graduates that are interested in coaching, business, travel, and international lacrosse development. Wood will coach players in Graz, Munich and Prague in four-day long training sessions.

Wood was recently named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I All-Region Second Team after leading the Dragons (9-8) ion scoring with 46 gaols and 6 assists for 52 points. She was also selected to All-Colonial Athletic Association Second Team.
