Club lacrosse: Duke’s L.C. aims for sixth straight Champ Camp title

The Duke’s Lacrosse Club will shoot for its sixth straight championship at Champ Camp 22 Thursday through Sunday in the Greater Baltimore area.

Games will be played at Johns Hopkins and Towson University. Seventy-two teams will compete in 16 groups that feature many of the top club teams from the East Coast.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the championship tournament.

Along with Duke’s L.C. 1 (Group A), Duke’s 2 has earned a No. 1 seed (Group P). Last year Duke’s 1 defeated Duke’s 2, 10-3, in the title game.

Other top seeds include Long Island’s Smithtown, For the Love of he Game and Long Island 1, Baltimore’s Gilman and Got Skillz, New Jersey’s Tri-State Black and Leading Edge and Virginia’s FuZe Blue.
