Boys’ club lacrosse: Twist U15 team wins Rust Off 5v5 Tournament in Flemington, NJ

The Twist Lacrosse U15 team coached by Mike Donnelly won the Rust Off 5v5 Tournament held at Powertime Sports in Flemington, NJ on Sunday, March 13.

The 8-man Twist’s team posted a 6-1 record for the day and earned as the #1 seed for the playoff round. Twist’s semifinal win avenged its only loss of the day and the team fought back from a 4-0 deficit to win the championship game 6-4.

All of the players showed great sportsmanship and played solid lacrosse over their 7-game schedule. The team was anchored by goalie Greg Price and top scorer was Spencer Coats. Other players included Ralph Shields, Pierre Armstrong, Mark Ehrlich, Greg Farina, Alex Scalamandre and Joe Donnelly.
