Hunterdon Central (N.J.) LSM/defenseman Shane Taggert has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at St. Joseph’s University.

HS team’s outlook for 2012: “We made it to the NJ Group IV championship game last year, but lost. As a team we would like to reach the finals again and win. We have a number of talented players returning to reach that goal.”
Other comments: “I wanted to say thank you to my parents for supporting me throughout the years on and off the field, and a thank you for all my coaches forhelping me learn the game.”
