John Carroll senior goalie Carlee Ries has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division I lacrosse at Drexel University.

Position: Goalie

College Choice: Drexel University

Club Affiliation: NEMS 2012

Major lacrosse honors: ESPN Rise Ranked 17th Goalie in the Nation, Baltimore Metro, 2 Club National Championships, countless tournament championship, U-15 Harford Lacrosse Team.

Academic honors: Three time Honor Roll Recipient

What will you major in/study? Nursing

Why did you choose Drexel? “The academics are excellent. I bonded well with the team. The coaches are awesome. I love the city life and I know this team is really going places.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “Solid, we are ready for a championship.”

Additional comments: I’d like to thank my all my NEMS coaches, they have really pushed me places I thought I’d never go. Especially Coach Mosketti and Coach Laubach they have been my coaches since I was seven and have believed in me since then.”
