National Letter of Intent signing: Nine Conestoga boys heading to D1 schools

Nine Conestoga seniors signed their National Letters of Intent to play Division I lacrosse at a recent signing ceremony.

Front row: defenseman Jamie Ikeda (Duke), midfielder Mike McGregor (Drexel), FO specialist Zach Gregory (Towson, second team All-Central in 2011), attackman Bradlee Lord (Maryland, First Team All-Central), LSM Miles Thomas (Drexel).

Back row: Principal Amy Meisinger, midfielder Adam Goins (Notre Dame), midfielder Jordan Klunder (Drexel), attackman Connor Frisina (Delaware, First Team All-Central), attackman Brooke (Maryland, Second Team All-Central), coach Brian Samson, athletic director Pat Boyle.

The nine seniors helped the Pioneers win their second straight Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association championship in 2011. Conestoga finished ranked No. 2, No. 3 or No. 4 in every national poll and also won their third straight District 1 championship as well as the Central League title.
