Central Bucks East senior attackman Parker Self has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the Air Force Academy.

Major Lacrosse Honors: Philly Under Armour Team, EPSLA Showcase All Star, Blue Chip 225 Elite All Star

Academic Honors: Volunteered with LEAPS and CB East Extra Man. 3.9 GPA, High Honor Roll.

Other colleges considered: Army, Michigan, Drexel, Lafayette

Why did you choose school?: “I had a lot of opportunities to visit some awesome schools, but when I got to Colorado Springs I knew it was where I wanted to be for the next four years. I love that part of the country, and the opportunities presented by the Academy were too good to pass up. It also helps that there are two CB East guys out there, (recent grads) Warren Kuhn and Brendan Coleman. Those guys and the Air Force coaches really made me feel at home and made the decision to come that much easier.”

What is your High School team’s outlook for next year?: “We had an awesome year last year (reaching the state semifinals and District 1 finals), in part due to great senior leadership that we are really going to miss next year. We’re still really optimistic for this season though, we have some good younger players coming up and a strong senior class, too. We’re also incredibly motivated and working hard to get back to the success we had last year.”
