Editor’s Note: Phillylacrosse.com honors the boys’ players from Philly for the 2011 season. The All-Phillylacrosse.com teams were chosen after much discussion with coaches and other media members. The major considerations were player performance and how much the players helped their teams succeed. Tomorrow: High Honorable Mention

Goalies

Steve Brodeur, Strath Haven, Junior
US Lacrosse All-American, All-EPSLA, Central League First Team … Led Panthers to District 1 playoffs … Played on Philly team at Under Armour Underclassmen Games … Committed to Lehigh.

Dustin Keen, Downingtown West, Senior
US Lacrosse All-American, All-EPSLA, Ches-Mont League First Team, Ches-Mont MVP… Led Whippets to Ches-Mont title, 20-3 record and berth in state tournament… Signed with St. Joseph’s.

Conor Kelly, Haverford School, Senior
Under Armour, US Lacrosse All-American, All-EPSLA, Inter-Ac First Team, Inter-Ac Co-MVP… Phillylacrosse.com Co-Player of the Year … Led Fords to perfect 23-0 season, Inter-Ac League and Invitational crowns and top ranking in every national poll … Saved 58 percent of his shots … Had tryout with U-19 team … Signed with Notre Dame.

Face-Off Specialists

Drew Kennedy, Malvern Prep, Senior
All-EPSLA, Inter-Ac First Team… Won 78 percent of face-offs (241 out of 310 ) and added 10 goals and 18 assists … Led Friars to second place finish in Inter-Ac League and finals of Inter-Ac Invitational… Signed with Johns Hopkins.

Joe McCallion, Haverford School, Senior
US Lacrosse All-American, All-EPSLA, Inter-Ac First Team… Won 63 percent (222 of 353) of face-offs and added 10 goals and 18 assists … Led Fords to perfect 23-0 season, Inter-Ac League and Invitational crowns and top ranking in every national poll … Committed to Penn.

Sean Reilly, Central Bucks East, Senior
All-EPSLA, Suburban One Continental Conference First Team pick … Helped Pats win conference title, reach District 1 finals and PIAA semifinals … Won 78 percent of face-offs …Will play at Navy.
