Recent Springfield-Delco graduate Dan O’Connell (goalie) has committed to play Division III lacrosse at DeSales University.
O’Connell helped the Cougars finish 11-8 and advance to the District 1 tournament this year.
He plans to major in sports management and one day become an athletic director.
“I picked DeSales because of the coach (Andrew Geison), the campus, and the opportunities it presents,” he said.
O’Connell wished to thank his parents, teammates and coaches.
