Philly girls help Team Heather Leigh Albert reach finals of U-19 Girls’ Elite Division at 39th Vail Shootout

Four Philly girls are contributing on Team Heather Leigh Albert, which has advanced to the finals of the U-19 Girls’ Elite Division at the 39th Vail Lacrosse Shootout in Colorado.

Recent Episcopal Academy graduates Maggie Forker (defender) and Claire MacManus (midfielder), recent Strath Haven grad Alex Duckenfield (midfielder) and recent Hill School alum Callie Francis (midfielder) have helped Team HLA win its first five games by a combined score of 67-16.

Team HLA is comprised of players from the Mid-Atlantic region and coached by St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes (Va.) coach Kathy Jenkins. Team HLA will play M&D 2012 in the title game Thursday.
