Wednesday’s boys’ roundup: Shipley School, Archbishop Ryan gain victories

Julius Mouser had three goals and two assists and Ian McGibbon made 10 saves as Shipley School earned a 7-4 non-league boys’ lacrosse victory Wednesday over vistinmg Plymouth Whitemarsh.

Long sticks Eric Loreaux, Steve Gentry, Will Todd, Luke Massengill, Mike Gagnier and short stick middies Jamie Piltch, Maz Obuz and Evan Romano led the defense for the Gators (5-1).

Mac Gallagher was strong at the face-off X and added two goals while Mike Litner had a goal and two assists and Matt Gagnier scored once.

Archbishop Ryan 14, Conwell-Egan 8

Tim Taylor had five goals and an assist and Kevin Nelms contributed three goals and two assists as the Raiders dealt Conwell-Egan a Catholic League defeat.

Pat Haselbarth added two goals and two assists for Ryan while Dillon Cave and Nick Levan each scored twice.
