Clearview (N.J.) senior goalie Rachel Hall has signed a Letter of Intent to play Division I lacrosse at Temple University.
Hall, who played club for South Jersey Select, plans to major in criminal justice at Temple and wants to work for the FBI when she graduates.
“I chose Temple University because I was impressed with the lacrosse program and coaching staff,” she said. “I also felt that I could excel academically at Temple and the university was a great all round fit for me.
“Temple has everything I was looking for in a university including being located in a big city and a large sports school.”
Hall also was impressed with Temple coach Bonnie Rosen.
“I really liked that Coach Rosen was very enthusiastic about coaching the lacrosse team and she was everything I was looking for in a coach,” she said. “I like that Coach Rosen is involved in the Philadelphia community through lacrosse and provides educational opportunities for her players.
“I feel that Coach Rosen wants her players to be well rounded on and off the field. I am excited to be a future Temple Owl.”
Hall is a member of the National Honor Society and Superintendents List.
At Clearview she has established a school record for lowest goals against in a season and most career saves. Hall earned second team all conference in her last season. She also has played volleyball for four years at Clearview.
“As my final year goaltending for Clearview, I hope to have the best season and to compete for the state championship,” says Hall.
