Two Mid-Atlantic Region boys’ lacrosse powers collide today at a neutral site when Conestoga faces Boys’ Latin (Md.) at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster at 7:30 p.m.
Conestoga (1-0), the defending Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association state champion, is ranked No. 5 in the ESPN RISE Powerade Fab 50 and No. 13 in the Under Armour/Inside Lacrosse Power Rankings.
Boys’ Latin, of the powerful MIAA, is 4-0 and is ranked No. 4 in the ESPN RISE rankings and No. 5 in the UA/IL ratings.
Conestoga is the No. 2 team in Pennsylvania behind Haverford School. The Pioneers are coming off a hard-fought 12-9 victory over St. Joseph’s Prep on Saturday.
Also today, St. Joseph’s Prep meets Penn Charter in a Philly battle of Top 10 teams at Cabrini College at 7:30 p.m. St. Joe’s Prep (0-1) is ranked No. 6 in the state and PC (2-0) is No. 9.
Meanwhile, No. 7 La Salle (0-1) hosts No. 5 Malvern Prep (1-1) at 4 p.m.
