Also hired were Chris Shunk, and James Foote will assist with various aspects of the Tars’ upcoming season.

“We’re very happy to welcome Kyle, Chris, and James to the Rollins family for 2011,” said Rossi. “They each bring with them a new area of expertise that will be great additions to the current foundation. They will each help us in the building process of this program. Their professionalism, knowledge, and desire to take this team to new heights will be great assets both on and off the field.”

Hofstaedter will take on the responsibility of defensive coordinator, and will assume recruitment duties under the guidance of Rossi.

While at DeSales, Hofstaedter was the defensive coordinator where he also helped in the recruiting process and managed the equipment. Prior to DeSales, he served as an assistant coach for the Penn Premier lacrosse club.
