The California Lax Classic, which benefits the HEADstrong Foundation, has been expanded to a two-day tournament this year that will be held July 9-10 in San Juan Capistrano, CA.

Along with teams from Philly, squads from the following states will be represented: California, Washington, Utah, and Arizona.

The tourney, which last year was for Boys’ U15 and U13 teams, is expanding to include boys’ and girls’ High School teams (Elite and HS Divisions). Click here for coverage of last year’s event.

The tournament is hosted by Team Relentless, a U15 club lacrosse team created to raise money for the HEADstrong Foundation. Team Relentless, located in Orange County, has modeled itself after the HEADstrong Foundation and its mission by raising money and awareness of blood cancers on the West Coast.

Team Relentless is coached by former Radnor and Maryland standout Max Ritz and former Johns Hopkins star Kyle Harrison. The two are also co-founders of the LXM Pro tour, which debuted on the East Coast last summer at Radnor.

Age Brackets:
U13 Boys – Gold and Silver Division
U15 Boys and Girls – Gold and Silver Division
NEW – High School Boys and Girls Division – Elite Division, High School Division

The tourney (click here for website) features five guaranteed games and championships will be awarded in all divisions. There is an rarly Registration Discount of $975 if paid in full by Feb. 28. To register, call (949) 954-2085 or e-mail info@calaxclassic.com
