The following are boys’ and girls’ lacrosse tournaments listed for the Fall. To see a full listing of Philly lacrosse events, click here for boys and here for girls.

Penncrest Endless Summer Lacrosse Tournament, Saturday, September 18 at Penncrest High, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Sponsored by Penncrest Lions Boosters. Tournament Format: Championship style (top two teams in each pool make the playoffs), four games guaranteed, two divisions (Varsity; Junior Varsity).

Registration Fee: Paid in full before September 7, $450; after September 7, $500. To hold your team’s entry, please forward a non-refundable deposit of $50. After team deposit is received, complete registration details will be forwarded. The 4th Annual Upper Darby 7v7 Fall Lacrosse Tourney will be held on Sunday October 17th at Drexel Hill Middle School. The fee for each team is $300.00. Please contact Walt Udovich at wudovich@upperdarbysd.org

The 7th Annual Brian Houshower Lacrosse Festival will be held Saturday, Oct 23, (rain date 10/30/10) at Downingtown West High School. This 10v10 Tournament, which honors the memory of the former Downingtown West lacrosse player, is for high school players only. There is 3-game minimum with playoffs and championship games in both A and B divisions.

This tournament, sponsored by Downingtown West Boys Lacrosse, is competitive and has grown into one of the established high school boys Fall Tournaments in the region. The cost is $625.00 per team. Please contact Andrea Beneke at Andrea.beneke@verizon.net for more information or to register.

Brandywine Classic fall lacrosse festival for youth, middle school and high school boys’ and girls’ teams, October 23-24 at the Brandywine Polo Club in Toughkenamon, Chester County, by the Pattison Sports Group and NXTsports. The youth teams will play on Saturday (Oct. 23) while the high school teams will play on Sunday (Oct. 24). The Brandywine Classic is a festival format where every team will play four games on 12 grass fields in one location.

The boys’ tournament will consist of three youth divisions (U11, U13 and U15) and three High School divisions (High School AA, High School A, and High School B).

The Fall Brawl # 5 and Middle School Lacrosse Play Day will be held on Nov. 7 and No. 14 at The Haverford School. The price is $600 per team; 5th and 6th Grade Divisions on Sunday November 7, 7th and 8th Grade Divisions – Sunday November 14. The 2nd Annual Care for the Cure Lacrosse Tournament, for girls’ and boys’ high school teams as well as men’s and women’s post collegiate teams, will be held at Henderson High, Nov. 7. The rain date: is Nov. 14. On August 15, 2008 Caroline (Care) Cranston, at 24 years old, was diagnosed with leukemia. In high school, Care played lacrosse for Henderson and continued her lacrosse career at Duquesne University. On May 8, 2010 she passed away after fighting for 21 months. This charity tournament benefits the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS), as well as a scholarship in Caroline’s name. In 2009, $8,000 was raised for the LLS and we plan on raising much more this year.

The tournament will be held on five fields at Henderson, including two turf fields. Games will be 50 minutes in duration and played according to U.S. Lacrosse Women’s rules at a cost of $600 per team. The Strath Haven Fall Lax Fest will be held for boys’ lacrosse teams on Saturday, Nov. 13 at Strath Haven High. The event, which will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature a tournament format, with three games guaranteed for each team. Games feature two halves, 20-minute running. There will be three divisions: Varsity A, Varsity B and Freshman/JV. the rain date is Nov. 20

2010 Delaware Challenge Boy’s Lacrosse Tournament, Sunday, November 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the University of Delaware Athletic Complex. Single player registration is $65. Athletes can register now at www.udel.edu/laxdelchallenge through November 12. Payment can be made by credit card. The games will be regulation 10 vs. 10 played by high school federation rules. Teams will be placed in Divisions. Teams are guaranteed three games and a winner will be declared for each division. No overall tournament winner will be declared – only divisional winners. Each game will be 50 minutes in length. Personal information will be available to all college coaches in attendance.
Players can sign up as individuals, or with their high school team or club team. Individuals can sign up to be placed on independent teams or complete high school or club teams are also encouraged to attend. For those groups attending as a team it is recommended to have 18-20 players. All participants will have a short instructional clinic prior to the first games per NCAA rules.

The 8th Annual Pumpkin Pie Tournament, for boys’ and girls’ teams, will be held Saturday, Nov. 20 and 21, at Westtown School. The girls’ and U15 boys’ teams will play Saturday while U13-U9 boys’ teams will play Sunday.

Youth ages, boys U11-U15 and girls middle school, will play Saturday and High School, boys Varsity & JV and girls Senior A & B, will be played on Sunday. Each team will get four 25-minute games. Champion and Runner-up awards for each division. Girls’ and boys’ games will be played side by side for this unique experience.
