Trimble (Episcopal Academy), Woehling (Radnor) named among nation’s top seniors by ESPN RISE

Episcopal Academy midfielder Taylor Trimble has been named the No. 2 senior in the country and Radnor goalie Annie Woehling is No. 6 in ESPN RISE’s “On The RISE” list of the top 50 seniors.

Also from Philly, Downingtown East goalie Allie Murray was listed at No. 28 and teammates Kelly Devlin (No. 36, midfielder) and Emily Solenberger (No. 40, attack) also made the list. Strath Haven defender Summer O’Donnell is at No. 33, Baldwin School midfielder Sloan Warren is at No. 46 and Radnor attack Leah Gallagher is at No. 48.

Episcopal Academy's Taylor Trimble

Trimble (committed to Duke) is a two-time winner of the Heather Leigh Albert award as the top player at the National Tournament. She was picked to play on the US U19 Training Team and was the No. 2 Young Gun Rising Senior as chosen by Inside Lacrosse during the summer.

Trimble had 70 goals, 31 assists and 56 draw controls in 2010, helping Episcopal Academy to its sixth straight Inter-Ac League crown. She was a US Lacrosse All-America, a first-team all-league and an All-Phillylacrosse.com pick.

Woehling, who has committed to Princeton, helped Radnor win its second straight Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) championship last year. A First Team US Lacrosse All-American and Academic All-American, she also was an All-Phillylacrosse.com pick and played on the Under Armour team.

Murray, who has committed to Notre Dame, was chosen this summer to play on the U19 National Training Team. Murray was an All-Phillylacrosse.com pick last year when she led the Cougars to a fifth-place finish in the District 1 tournament and a berth in the state tournament. She also played on the Under Armour team.

O’Donnell, committed to Drexel, helped the Panthers reach claim a share of their first Central League title ever. She played for Team Philly in the Under Armour Underclassmen Games and helped the Panthers reach the state title game as a sophomore.

Devlin (committed to North Carolina) was a US Lacrosse All-American who also played in the Under Armour Underclassmen Games for Team Philly. She was a Ches-Mont League first-team pick and an All-Phillylacrosse.com selection who had 78 goals and 58 assists. She led the Cougars to a 19-6 season and a fifth-place finish in the District 1 tournament as well as a berth in the PIAA quarterfinals. She also was listed as a Watch List pick by Inside Lacrosse for its Rising Seniors Young Guns feature.

Solenberger (Lehigh) scored 93 goals last year. She helped the Cougars place fifth in the District 1 tournament and advance to the state quarterfinals.

Warren (committed to Virginia) was a US Lacrosse All-American, Academic All-American, Inter-Ac League first-team pick and an All-Phillylacrosse.com pick in 2010. She collected 109 goals and 29 assists in helping the Bears place fourth in the Inter-Ac. She also was listed as a Watch List pick by Inside Lacrosse for its Rising Seniors Young Guns feature.

Gallagher, who has committed to Notre Dame, was a key player for the Red Raiders in their drive to a second straight Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association championship.
