Kyle Gillam had four goals and an assist and Zac Gremminger added three goals to help host Sun Valley edge Bishop Shanahan, 14-13, Friday in Ches-Mont League boys’ lacrosse.
Frankie Jackson scored three goals and Bobby Clemens had one goal and four assists for the Vanguads (4-2, 1-1), while Sam Maldou dished off four assists and Tyler Brunn made nine saves.
Keegan Lawton paced Shanahan (1-2, 0-1) with five goals and three assists and Michael Thompson scored five goals.
Upper Darby 5, Archbishop Carroll 1
Jake Syre had two goals and two assists and Joe Brown added two goals and one assist while Dylan Burke made 16 saves to lead the Royals to the non-league win.
Souderton 3, North Penn 2
Bryan Ziegler scored the game-winner with 2:39 to pay as the Indians edged the Knights in a Suburban One Continental game.
North Penn seized a 2-0 lead, but Souderton later tied it on J.P. Carroll’s goal in the fourth period. Grant Nice (17 saves) turned in another solid effort for Souderton (5-1), which completed its week of three one-goal victories (others over Phoenixville and Central Bucks West).
Central Bucks East 14, Pennridge 3
Matt Bodzik had four goals and two assists and Alex Fetterman added three goals and one assist to help the Pats breeze. Kevn Figaniak led the Rams with two goals and an assist.
Upper Merion 17, Cheltenham 5
Nate Hare had four goals and two assists and Luc Minnich had three goals and three assists while Wes McDowell added three goals and two assists to help the Vikings cruise to the Suburban One American win.
Spring-Ford 9, Boyertown 6
The Rams remained undefeated (6-0) as Drew Thomas had four goals and an assist, Brian Bock had two goals and two assists and Colton Szostek added two goals and one assist.
Shipley 6, Chestnut Hill Academy 3
Julius Mouser had two goals and two assists while Matt Gagnier, EJ Whyte, Mike Litner and James Brownstein each scored once as the Gators improved to 6-0. Goalie Ian McGibbon turned away 10 of 13 shots.
Interboro 8, Monsignor Bonner 1
Jordan Graham and Vince Latham each scored two goals while Lee and Dan Hopson led the defense as the Bucs claimed the non-league win.
Henderson 15, Great Valley 5
Ethan Heisman scored seven goals and Sebastian Kerslake added four to lead the Warriors to the Ches-Mont League win.
Eric Gartner led Great Valley with four goals.
Wissahickon 7, Upper Dublin 6, 5 OT
Garrett Rosiek scored the game-winner as the Trojans outlasted the arch-rival Cardinals in a memorable Suburban One American contest.
Methacton 8, Pottsgrove 2
Devin Ringwood had two goals and an assist and Sean Aronow scored two goals while Alex Duvenois scooped 11 groundballs to pace the Warriors to the non-league win.
