Midfielder Annalise Penikis (Strath Haven) and attack Maggie Mauer (Archbishop Carroll) have transferred from Division I colleges to the immediate Philly region.

Penikis – an Honorable mention All-American who scored 97 goals as a senior – moved from Division I Lehigh to Division III Swarthmore. Penikis played in four games last year for the Mountain Hawks and scored one goal.

Penikis helped lead the Panthers to the state finals in 2009.

Mauer transferred to St. Joseph’s from George Mason, where she played in three games in 2010. Mauer helped Carroll win its ninth straight Catholic League championship in 2009.
