PA Boys’ Media Rankings: Springfield-Delco edges Haverford School for No. 1 in All-Teams; Cougars take No. 1 spot in PIAA

Springfield-Delco edged Haverford School by one vote to take over as the No. 1 team in the Pennsylvania Media Lacrosse Boys’ Rankings for all teams in the state.

The Cougars (13-1) managed seven first-place votes and 124 points while the Fords (15-3) had six first-place votes and 123 points. Springfield-Delco, which defeated former No. 1 La Salle on Saturday, also claimed all 13 first-place votes in the PIAA Poll.

The All-Teams poll includes independent and private schools that are not members of the PIAA.

Each week members of the media from Phillylacrosse.com, LaxPower and 11 newspapers throughout the state are voting on the top teams both in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association and the entire state for girls and boys.

Media members are voting from the following newspapers: the Philadelphia Inquirer, Delaware County Daily Times, West Chester Daily Local, Pottstown Mercury, Norristown Times Herald, Doylestown Intelligencer, Bucks County Courier Times, Allentown Morning Call, Lancaster Intelligencer, Harrisburg Patriot-News and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
