Bambino, a Yardley native, scored three goals in 12 appearances. Bambino also was named to the Academic All-Big Ten team this year.

In order to be selected to the team, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA through at least four semesters of work at his current institution, be a significant contributor to his team and have participated in at least 50 percent of the games.

Clausen, a history major, was named to the 2010 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team.

A Tewaaraton Trophy finalist, Clausen recorded a ground ball in 68 of his 70 career contests, finishing tied with fellow classmate Brian Carroll with most career games played at UVa. In 2010 Virginia led the nation in groundballs per game with 37.17 and Clausen finished eighth in the nation in caused turnovers per game with a 2.06 average. Those numbers helped the Downingtown native become the first player in program history to earn USILA first-team All-America honors three times.

The four-time All-American also is a 2010 USILA Scholar All-American and was a finalist for the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award. Clausen was the fifth-overall selection in the 2010 Major League Lacrosse Draft, selected by the Denver Outlaws.
