NLL: Wings rally and defeat Minnesota Swarm, 13-12, on Smider’s OT goal

Geoff Snider scored three minutes into overtime as the Philadelphia Wings defeated the host Minnesota Swarm, 13-12, Saturday night in the National Lacrosse League.

Snider did it al for the Wings, winning 20 of 29 face-offs and leading the team (5-10) with four goals and three assists.

John Christmas (Lower Merion) added three goals and an assist for the Wings and Kyle Wailes had two goals and two assists, including the goal that sent the game into OT with less than a minute remaining in regulation.

Brandon Miller made 44 saves for Philadelphia and Bill McGlone (Ridley) and Drew Westervelt each had two goals and two assists.
