Haverford School’s Goran Murray (No.1), Salesianum School’s Ryan Kilpatrick (No. 2) and Conestoga’s Brian Dailey (No. 3) have been tabbed as the top three senior long stick midfielders in the nation by ESPN Rise in its weekly Top 20 “On the RISE” feature.
Also, Unionville’s Rich O’Neill was No. 6 on the list, released today.
Murray was a First Team Inter-Ac League and All-Eastern Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association (EPSLA) selection for the Fords, who shared the Inter-Ac crown and won the Inter-Ac Invitational. Murray – like Kilpatrick and Dailey – was selected to the ESPN RISE Warrior 40 team and played for the Philly squad at the Under Armour Underclassmen Games this summer.
Murray, listed at No. 29 in the Inside Lacrosse Rising Senior Young Guns feature this summer, has committed to Maryland.
Kilpatrick was a US Lacrosse All-American and an All-Phillylacrosse.com pick for the Sals, who reached the Delaware state finals. He was listed at No. 21 in the IL Young Guns feature and has committed to North Carolina.
Dailey, who has committed to NCAA defending champion Duke, was a US Lacrosse, All-EPSLA, All-Phillylacrosse.com and First Team Central League pick for the Pioneers last year, helping them claim the state title. Dailey also was listed as the No. 14 Young Gun by Inside Lacrosse.
O’Neill was a First Team Ches-Mont League pick for Unionville, which qualified for the District 1 tournament. O’Neill is undecided on a college.
