Plymouth Whitemarsh senior midfielder Pat Nolan has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Cabrini College.
Nolan, a first-team All-Suburban One American Conference pick last year as a junior when he had 21 goals and 21 assists, has helped the Colonials get off to a 5-2 start (4-1 league).
Nolan, who plays club lacrosse for Penn Premier, plans to major in Sports Management at Cabrini
“I liked what they were saying,” Nolan said about coach Steve Colfer’s style of play. “The location is great, not too far. Plus, it’s a real great team so I jumped on it.”
The Cavaliers are 11-3 and are shooting for its 10th straight Colonial States Athletic Conference title. Nolan will be joining Germantown Academy senior goalie Steve Oppenheimer as a Cabrini recruit.
Also from PW, junior attackman Colin Joka has committed to Division I Marist College.
The Colonials earned a key 11-9 win over Upper Dublin Saturday in the Suburban One and are one game behind first-place Wissahickon.
“The season’s going well,” said Nolan. “We have some tougher games coming up, but hopefully we’ll play pretty well.”
