Inter-Ac League boys’ tournament: Haverford School, Malvern Prep earn top seeds

The Inter-Ac League will hold its second boys’ Lacrosse Invitational on Friday, May 21, and Wednesday, May 26, at Cabrini College’s Dixon Field.

The Semifinals will begin at 5 p.m. and feature No. 2 seed Malvern Prep vs. the winner of the first-round matchup between No. 3 seed Episcopal Academy and No. 6 seed Germantown Academy.

The 7 p.m. semifinal will feature No. 1 seed Haverford School vs. the winner of the first-round matchup between No. 4 seed Penn Charter vs. No. 5 seed Lawrenceville School (N.J.).

The first-round games will be played Tuesday on the higher seed’s home field. The Finals will be held at Cabrini at 7 p.m.

“The Inter-Ac Invitational continues to grow and feature the best high school boys’ lacrosse in the area,” said Haverford School coach John Nostrant. “Lawrenceville was added this year and now coaches are calling for next year.”

Tickets for the Semifinals and Finals cost $7.00 per day and may be purchased in advance at or at the gate. Seating at Dixon Field is limited so it is encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.

The Pattison Sports Group of Philadelphia is hosting the event.

Game 3: Malvern Prep vs. Winner Game 2, 5 p.m.
Game 4: Haverford School vs. Winner Game 1, 7 p.m.
