The F4 Showbine is now accepting registrations from individual boys’ lacrosse players to create at-large teams.
“We have received an overwhelming amount of emails from great players who were without a team to play for in the fall,” said Glenn Carter, F4 Co-Director and newly named head coach of the University of Richmond Men’s Lacrosse team. “It made sense for us to give them an opportunity to participate and showcase their talent.”
The F4 Showbine is a high end recruiting event that is the first of its kind to incorporate a skills combine rotation with game play. The Showbine will be held at an all-turf, state-of-the-art facility in Flemington, NJ, on Nov. 13-14. The new facility allows college coaches to see all the action from a heated scouting tower at one time, not just a single game – thereby providing maximum exposure opportunities for the players.
“We are looking forward to adding the at-large teams,” Carter said. “With over 80 coaches from 50 college programs and a mud-free, all-turf venue it promises to be an incredible recruiting opportunity.”
The Showibine will feature three separate sessions, with two sessions on Saturday and one on Sunday. Sessions are limited to 16 teams.
The F4 Showbine individual registration will be available on-line only beginning September 24. There is limited space available and registration will be accepted on a first-come-first served basis.
Teams will be limited to 24 players with a two-goalie max per team. Players are able to register for one or two sessions. Each session will include a qualified coach to help assist and organize the players for the three full games and combine rotation at each session.
