The Duke’s Lacrosse Club is expanding to include a middle school team in partnership with Triple H Lacrosse.

The Duke’s Triple H squad will be coached by Triple H coaches/trainers John Christmas, Eric Gregg and Billy McKinney.

The selection for Duke’s HHH will follow in the tradition of Duke’s LC. Coaches will evaluate the 8th graders trying out for Duke’s LC during Sunday’s tryouts at Haverford College. All 8th graders that do not make the high school team for Duke’s LC will be candidates for Duke’s HHH.

After the tryouts Duke’s HHH plans to hold clinics during the fall and early winter for middle school players (details will be posted at in the near future). Sixth and 7th grade players are welcome to join 8th grade players at the clinic which will dually serve as skill building and player assessment events.

The players selected will participate in tournament and league play this fall and winter with a primary focus of preparing for the 2011 U-15 National Championship tournament being held in Florida next summer.
