Women’s recruit: Freshman defender Peloquin (Bayard Rustin) joins sister at Villanova

Freshman defender Lauren Peloquin, a graduate of Bayard Rustin, is playing at Villanova University.

Peloquin was a First Team Ches-Mont League pick last year for Rustin. She also was a two-time First Team all-league pick in soccer.

Peloquin joins her sister Jackie, a senior starter on defense and graduate of Henderson.

Lauren Peloquin is a Biology major.

“We were obviously familiar with Lauren because of the fact Jackie has been in our program for three years,” said Villanova coach Jebb Chagan. “Lauren is a tireless worker who is extremely coachable.”
