Saturday’s scholastic roundup: Penncrest boys edge Sun Valley, 11-10

Andrew Caldwell scored five goals and Craig Kashner added three to lead Penncrest to an 11-10 victory Saturday over Sun Valley in a non-league boys’ lacrosse game.

Kyle Gillam led Sun Valley with four goals and Frankie Jackson added two goals and an assist.

George Washington 10, Del-Val Charter

Colin Kramer had two goals and two assists and Angel Galindo added a goal and two assists while Tori Gordon, Danny Sansom and Bogdan Voshelio each had a goal and an assist to help GW defeated De-al in a Public League game.

Decland Sweeney made three saves to record the win and Daravan Lok had nine saves for Del-Val.

Upper Darby 13, Harry S Truman 3

Chris Bruce had three goals for Truman.

Andy Mardinley had five goals and two assists while JJ Maloney scored four goals to pace the Royals to the non-league win.

Hill School 13, Kiski 11

Tyler Himes had a solid game in goal and and PJ Mara, Sean Brown, Teddy Wolter, Eric Neumeyer and Ryan Sterret led the attack for the Blues.

Plymouth Whitemarsh 11, Upper Dublin 9

Colin Joka pumped in six goals to lead the Colonials to a Suburban One American Conference win over the Cardinals.

Kennett 8, Harriton 4

Turner Simon scored three goals to lead the Demons. Zach Fink had two goals for the Rams.

Bayard Rustin 8, Interboro 5

Bran Pratt, Luke McGreevy and Mike Steward each scored two goals for Rustin. Ron Lassiter led the Bucs with two goals.

Great Valley 14, Phoenixville 5

Campbell Armstrong collected four goals and two assists to lead the Patriots to the non-league win.

Henderson 20, Cardinal O’Hara 8

Ethan Heisman and Max Siskind each scored four goals as the Warriors rolled.

Girls
Downingtown West 16, Haverford High 10

Eva Winiarski had six goals and three assists to lead the Whippets to the non-league win.

Katrina Geiger and Liz Bassani each fired in three goals for the Fords.
