Scholastic boys: Episcopal Academy downs previously-undefeated Bullis School (MD), 9-7

Shane Morrell had two goals and two assists and Gerry Smith, Andrew Gordon, Connor Haab and Tyler Odell scored two goals each as visiting Episcopal Academy toppled Maryland IAC power Bullis School, 9-7 today in boys’ lacrosse.

Tyler Morrell made eight saves for the Churchmen (4-0), including two key saves in the fourth period. Tyler Olsen also scored for EA, which led, 4-3, at halftime. Jackson Place led the defense with three caused turnovers and Elliot Albert had two caused turnovers.

Bullis entered play 5-0 and ranked No. 8 in Maryland by LaxPower’s computer rankings.
