LaxPower has upgraded team pages to better integrate them with the overall look and feel of its web site.

The new design splits the original content of the pages onto two tabs  – Schedules/Scores and Ratings Detail – to reduce the scrolling required. For high school teams, it also provides quicker access to links for reporting scores and adding games. For all teams, photos can now be tagged on Flickr to appear on a new tab.

Even prior to the new design, the navigation was enhanced to provide more relevant links and to add others to access any of the ratings-related pages for prior years. In addition, a new Alpha List link will help you find teams of interest more easily. And sharing the information is simpler than ever. A quick tour of the new layout:

Use the new tabs  to access schedule and score information, ratings detail, and photos or instructions for adding them. Getting to any of the ratings-related pages/links for prior years used to require a trip to the Archives section, but that access is now one click away. The links for reporting scores or editing games and for adding games not already on the schedule are now much more readily accessible. And if you’d like to share the page, look for the bar towards the upper right.

The Ratings Detail tab should now be used to access the data that previously appeared on the bottom two-thirds of the team page. In particular, it contains the +/- that signals how teams performed relative to the computer ratings in each game.

A Photos tab has been added to the team pages. Using the instructions provided, you can tag photos that you’ve uploaded to Flickr and have them display on this tab. Photos are displayed in a familiar “lightbox” format.
