Ana White scored four goals and Emily Garrity added two goals and four assists while Annalise Penikis had two goals and one assist to lead Strath Haven to a 10-6 victory over Unionville today in the District 1 girls’ quarterfinals at West Chester East.
The win advanced the fifth-seeded Panthers (17-3) into the semifinals Tuesday against No. 1 Radnor, a 19-10 winner over Boyertown on Saturday.
Strath Haven’s defense was led by Claure Sherry and Kim McClellan. Garrity also had three interceptions. Erica Midiri led the fourth-seeded Indians (17-3) with three goals and Melissa Lloyd made 14 saves. Unionville will play Tuesday in a play-back game against the Radnor-Boyertown loser.
The top seven teams advance to the first Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) playoffs.

Springfield-Delco 17, Abington 10
Led by a game-high six goals from Sammy Tulskie, Springfield-Delco defeated Abington 17-10 in the quarterfinal round of the District 1 playoffs. Madison Poplawski added four scores for Springfield and teammate Shannon Burns notched a pair of goals and five assists.
Springfield will next take on Bayard Rustin on Tuesday at a site and time to be determined.

Bayard Rustin 13, North Penn 12, OT
Julie Tatios (four goals) scored the game-winning goal for Rustin in overtime to lift her squad to a 13-12 victory over second-seeded North Penn in the PIAA District 1 quarterfinals. Tatios also tallied the equalizer with 11 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game into the extra session. Leana Brewer had thre egoals and two assists for Rustin and Carolyn Adams scored three times. Lauren McDermott poured in five goals for North Penn (19-1), which suffered its first loss.

Kelyn Freedman and Sam Elis each scored six goals as the Red Raiders (20-0) advanced to the semifinals.
Germantown Friends 15, Shipley 7
Betsy Sachs scored six goals, Lydia Kring tallied four and Iris Williamson added three goals and six draw controls as the Tigers (14-4) repeated as Friends Schools League champions.
Springfield-Delco 11, Abington 9
Josh Cavanaugh and Joe Venit each scored three goals to lift Springfield-Delco to an 11-9 victory over Abington in the quarterfinal round of the District 1 playoffs. Austin Kaut also added 12 saves for Springfield. The Cougars will take on Downingtown East on Tuesday in the district semifinals.
Central Bucks East 12, West Chester East 7
Matt Hughes poured in five goals and Adam Bitzer added four scores as Central Bucks East downed West Chester East, 12-7, in the District 1 quarterfinals. Zach Sharman also added a pair of goals for C.B. East, who will now take on top seed Conestoga in the semifinals on Tuesday.
Andrew Protenic led the way for West Chester East with three goals.
Downingtown East 11, Lower Merion 4
Behind four goals from Rocco Piliero, Downingtown East dispatched Lower Merion, 11-4, in the quarterfinal round of the District 1 tournament. Shane Sturgis, Jeff Zelinski and Kenny Maas combined to net six scores for the Cougars in the win. Next up for Downingtown East is No. 3 seed Springfield-Delco on Tuesday in the semifinals.
Conestoga 10, Garnet Valley 4 Shipley 6, Academy of the New Church 4
The Gators (17-3) won the Friends Schoosl League championship as goalie Jack Tanenbaum made 19 saves and Justin Miller tallied the game-winner off a pass from Mike Litner with 10:50 remaining in the game.
