Phillylacrosse.com, the leader for lacrosse coverage in the Philadelphia area, has entered into a content-sharing partnership with WestSideLax.com, Phillylacrosse.com Editor Chris Goldberg has announced.
WestSideLax.com, run by award-winning writer and Executive Editor Nathan Max, is acknowledged as theWestern United States’ leader for lacrosse news and information. It covers all pro, college and scholastic lacrosse teams west of the Mississippi River and has been online for three years.
Under the agreement, WSL and Phillylacrosse.com will work together on stories pertinent to their respective readerships.
PhillyLacrosse.com is operated by Goldberg, who has coached and officiated lacrosse for several years inPhiladelphia and been involved in daily newspapers for more than 25 years. The site will be celebrating its first anniversary in mid-January.
“I consider PhillyLacrosse to be the WSL of Philadelphia, and WSL wants to be affiliated with organizations that show a commitment to a high level of journalism,” Max said. “When news that is relevant to the Western lacrosse world breaks in the Philadelphia area, WSL will now be on top of it.”
Goldberg added: “West Side Lax is the model for sports websites, and we are proud to be partnered with an organization this committed to lacrosse and journalism. Lacrosse fans in Philadelphia are well aware of how the sport is growing in the West, and they will be excited to get quality coverage when it pertains to Philadelphia and the surrounding region.”
