Not bad for a first-year program.
The Gwynedd-Mercy College men won their third game in a row Tuesday night, rolling past Alvernia College, 11-2.
The win gave the Griffins a 3-2 mark in their first season of play.
Three goals from Steven Miner (Garnet Valley) and two goals and an assist each from Stefan Hetland (Garnet Valley) and Thomas Stewart gave Gwynedd-Mercy its highest offensive output so far.
Tied 1-1 after the first, Miner and Stewart scored two times each, the last coming with 29 seconds before halftime to give Gwynedd a 5-1 edge at the halfway point.
In the third, Jonathan Schmitt scored on a laser while Stewart set up Matt Houk with a goal as GM held a commanding 9-1 lead after three quarters.
Gwynedd outshot the 0-3 Crusaders, 33-14, and were good on 10 of 13 clears.
Goalie Kevin Hens (Hatboro-Horsham) made just four saves through three and half quarters. James Leemon (Father Judge) played the last three minutes and recorded two stops.
The Griffins will play at Moravian on Thursday at 4 p.m.
