Final 2009 PA Media Girls’ Lacrosse Rankings: Radnor tops both fields

The Radnor girls – the first Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) champions – finished at the top of the final PA Media Lacrosse Rankings.

Radnor (25-1) toppled Strath Haven, 20-10, for the first girls’ PIAA title at HersheyPark Stadium. Last year Radnor won the District 1 Class AAA championship.

The Lacrosse Media Rankings are chosen by Phillylacrosse.com and six newspapers: the Philadelphia Inquirer, Delaware County Daily Times, Allentown Morning Call, Harrisburg Patriot-News, Lancaster Intelligencer Journal and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
