Emmaus boys rout Easton, 15-4, to earn District 11 title game berth

Emmaus seized a 13-1 halftime lead and coasted past Easton, 15-4, today to advance to the District 11 boys’ championship game.

The Green Hornets (17-4) wll face Parkland, a 13-8 winner over Southern Lehigh in Wednesday’s nightcap. The game is Friday at Emmaus’ Memorial Field at 7 p.m. The winner receives the distrct’s lone berth for the first Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association playoffs.

Dan Kinek collected five goals and two assists and Will Scott had five goals and one assist while Alex Kuehner had three goals and an assist and Mic Debellis had one goal and four assists for Emmaus, ranked No. 8 in the PA media Rankings.

Matt Michael led Easton (14-7) with two goals.
