Drexel freshman Mark Manos (West Chester/Salesianum, DE) has been named the Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 8. Manos has won two of the four CAA Rookie of the Week awards presented this season.
The first-year goalkeeper tied a career-high with 17 saves in Drexel’s 8-6 loss at No. 18 St. John’s on Saturday. The Red Storm had 47 shots, but was able to beat the rookie on just eight occasions. Manos has a .618 save percentage in four games this season and an 8.58 goals-against average.

Meanwhile, Inside Lacrosse magazine has listed Manos as the No. 6 freshman in their rankings of the top 25 freshman men’s players.
