    Lenape Premier 2010 opened play Saturday with two impressive victories in the preliminary round of the Mid-Atlantic Showcase at McDonogh School  in Owings Mills (MD).

    The tournament is the biggest fall recruiting tourney of the season for girls’ club teams. More than 2,000 players representing over 100 teams are competing. Approximately 150 college coaches are expected to attend.

    Lenape Premier, based in Delaware County, opened with a 16-0 rout of CC Lax (MD) and then whipped FS Lax (MD) 17-7. Lenape Premier is tied atop its division with Green Turtle 10, a team it plays at 8:30 a.m.    

    In the 2011 division, Philly has teams from PA Express, Ultimate Goal and the Phantastix. The Phantastix also have a team entered in the 2012 division.
