    North Penn senior attack/midfielder Halie Lear has committed to play Division III lacrosse at NCAA runner-up Salisbury University.

     Lear was a key player on a Maidens team that went 20-3 and won the Suburban One Continental Conference crown before placing sixth in the District 1 tournament and advancing to the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association playoffs.

    Lear scored 26 goals and added three assists in 2009, earning All-Suburban One Honorable Mention.

    Salisbury finished 20-2 last year, bowing to Franklin & Marshall in the Division III championship game.
