Austin Girardot scored the game-winner with 45 seconds to play as host Unionville edged West Chester East, 13-12, today in the competition of a suspended Ches-Mont League boys’ game.
The game had been stopped Saturday after Unionville led, 8-6, at halftime. Today, the Vikings held a 12-11 lead until Joe Lisicky caused a turnover on a clear and tied the game with 3:21 to play. Lisicky, Miuke Sundry and Mike Nowoswiat each scored twice for the Indians (7-3, 4-1). Matt Mayda had four goals and Matt Beigle had three for East (10-2, 4-2).

The Ghosts rallied from a 10-7 deficit to score four unanswered goalsin the final six minutes and claim the Suburban One National win. Andrew Charles had three goals and Ryan Ambler had two goals and three assists for Abington while Joey Jones had two goals and two assists. Chris Brady had three goals and two assists while John Sutton and Andy MacPherson each had two scores for the Redskins.

Andrew Cacchio had five goals and two assists and Andrijko Andrusko had 14 saves as the Firebirds (11-1) claimed a tight win over the Crusafers (9-2). Jesse Fields had two goals and an assist for LC.
