Girls’ wrap: Baldwin downs GA, 15-8; Notre Dame, Springside earn Inter-Ac wins

    Sloan Warren poured in six goals and Jennie Wigrizer added a hat trick as  Host Baldwin School defeated Germantown Academy, 15-8, Friday in Inter-Ac league girls’ lacrosse.

    Maggie Mae Shields added two goals and Angela Farren, Alice Matthai, Stephanie Salvitti and Hilary Gray each scored once for the Bears (7-1, 4-1). Emily Acker added two assists.

    Kate Henrich led GA (10-6, 3-3) with three goals and Stephanie LaMont had two while Sidney Jacobs, Mia Jordan and Alex Farris each scored once.

Notre Dame 20, Penn Charter 6

    Katie Blumenthal had six goals and Bridget Burns added four goals and three assists for the Fighting Irish.

Springside School 17, Agnes Irwin 10

    Courtney Caputo tallied five goals to lead Springside.

Upper Merion 11, Norristown 3

    Madi Beyer led the Vikings with four goals and Michelle Bowes had three goals in the Suburban One American Conference victory.

    UM: Madi Beyer 4 goals, 1 assist; Michelle Bowes 3 goals; Erin Brobson 2 goals, 1 assist; Julia Ehmer 1 goal, 1 assist; Devin Bowes 1 goal.

Council Rock North 14, Pennsbury 4

    Hannah Plappert had five goals and three assists and Lindsay Rheiner added four tallies to lead the Indians.

Upper Dublin 11, Springfield-Montco 6

    Amy Cross netted four goals and Brooke Callahan and Emily Hitchings added two each for the Cardinals.

Cheltenham 16, Upper Moreland 10

    Charlotte Swavola erupted for nine goals to lead the Panthers. Alisha Pagano had three goals and two assists for the Bears while Karen Illuminati added two goals and two assists and Christi Torres had two goals and one assist. Sarah Baumgardner, made nine saves for UM

North Penn 12, Spring-Ford 11

    Abbie Hartman scored five goals and Lauren McDermott added four goals and an assist as the Maidens survived a scare to remain undefeated at 12-0. Lyndsay Hepler Made 10 saves for NP while Alyssa Culp, Dani Horn and Brittany Hanrahan added one goal each.         

Council Rock South 12, Villa Joseph Marie 5

    Madison Hurwitz fired in seven goals and Sarah Brotman added four in the non-league win for the Golden Hawks.

Archbishop Wood 14, Central Bucks West 3

    Catitlyn McCartney had four goals and four assists and Alyssa Andress and Hayley Oczkowski added three goals apiece for Wood in the non-league win. Alyssa Verrillo added two goals and Jenn White and Aubrie Ahrens scored once each while Kate Smart made nine saves.

    Morgan Ashworth led the Bucks with all three goals.

Boyertown 20, Pottstown 7

    Lyndsey Babilon poured in nine goals for the Bears in their Pioneer Athletic Conference rout. Kacey Mock had five goals for the Trojans.

    Caroline Moore (five goals) scored the game-winner early in overtime and Marissa Restraino scored four goals to lead the Lions to the Central League win. Halley Barnes had three goals for the Jaguars.

Henderson 19, Avon Grove 6

    Lauren Glassey collected four goals and five assists and Nicole Pyle had four goals and Meredith Kelly contributed three goals and three assists as the Warriors claimed the Ches-Mont victory. Jessica Henderson made 12 saves. Brynn Reid scored twice for the Red Devils.
Westtown 11, Academy of New Church 10

    Meghan Morley scored three goals to lead Westtown.

Germantown Friends 15, George School 6

    Lyles Swift-Farley had six goals and Iris Williamson had four for GFS in the Friends Schools League win. Stephanie Feinman led GS with three tallies.
