Scholastic roundup: No. 1 Radnor girls earn 16-8 win over Episcopal Academy

Sam Ellis scored four goals while Molly Early and Kelly Barnes added three each to lead visiting Radnor to a 16-8 victory over Episcopal Academy Friday in non-league girls’ action.

The Red Raiders (9-0) are ranked first by Phillylacrosse.com. Episcopal, ranked eighth fell to 7-2. Megan Spagnola and Blake McHugh scored two goals apiece for EA.

Harriton 14 Penn Wood 2

Carli Sukonik scored five goals and Shelby Berkowitz added three as the host Rams (7-4, 3-0) remained undefeated in the Del-Val League.

Boys
Haverford School 12, Penn Charter 3

Steve Aitken tallied four goals and goalie Dan Wigrizer posted 17 saves to lead the host Fords (7-4, 3-1, ranked third by Phillylacrosse.com) past the Quakers (9-3, 2-1, ranked fourth). Haverford led 12-2 after three periods.
